Will you join us and fight to protect our freedom and defend Arkansas' Values?

I believe our State is at an important inflection point, one where we need conservative leadership, fiscal responsibility, and a fresh perspective to entrenched bureaucratic problems. I firmly believe that the role of the State Legislature is to secure freedom and opportunity for all Arkansans under the constitution and do everything in its power to foster an environment for businesses to flourish.

My convictions are clear: I believe in limiting the size and scale of government, period. More importantly, as your Representative I will focus all my time, attention and efforts to ensuring that Arkansas is open for business, and that your legislature goes to work to support growing the economy, supporting small businesses and ensuring government gets out of the way of business owners so all Arkansans have access to good, high-paying jobs.

ABOUT

MEET BRIT

I am a Rogers native, and have been fortunate to call Rogers and this county my home. I have been a life-long conservative Republican, and my life of public service began when I started my career as a Legislative Aide on Capitol Hill, and transitioned to working for the Republican Party of Virginia, the Republican National Committee and managing numerous campaigns for local, constitutional, and state-wide offices across the country.

In my first-term I was proud of the conservative reform-minded accomplishments passed in the 94th Gerneral Assembly which include passing massive tax cuts which lessen the tax burden on 1.1 million Arkansans. Co-sponsoring and advocating to give parents more education options when choosing the best education for their children. I am emensely proud to have advocated and help pass criminal justice and sentencing reform to keep our communities safe, fought back against over-reaching attempts by the People’s Republic of China and the CCP, and worked to protect property rights for all Arkansans.

Currently, I serve on the House Education Committee and the House Aging, Children and Youth, Legislative and Military Affairs Committee. In addition to sitting on the House Education Committee, I was named the Vice Chair of the Early Childhood Education Subcommittee and in January, I  was elected by his recently sworn-in peers as Chairman of the Freshman Caucus.

I am currently working as a Brand Manager at Walmart Inc. But most importantly I am the loving husband to Sydney, my college sweetheart,  and I am the proud father of two sets of twins: John, Palmer Grace, Barnes & Winfield. I am a  parishioner and lector at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers.

  • ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & HIGHER PAYING JOBS
Arkansas' economy has suffered enough over the last two years of this global pandemic while our neighboring states are making themselves more competitive in terms of business development and lessen tax burdens on their citizens. We need leadership in our Legislature that understands more government is not the answer to creating a diverse wide ranging economy, rather we should be fostering economic opportunity through economic enrichment zones, job creation tax incentives and cutting bureaucratic red tape. I am proud to work in the business and retailer community in NWA, and I have seen first-hand that entrepreneurship will be responsible for unleashing Arkansas' greatest potential and unlocking better, higher-paying jobs.
  • EDUCATION
Parents should feel empowered to lead the charge when making decisions about what students are taught and how they are taught. Moreover, I am a firm believer that education funding and support dollars should follow students, and not programs or bureaucracy.
  • TAXES AND GOVERNMENT OVER-REGULATION
I believe that our government should aim to always accomplish one central goal: to serve the people of Arkansas. I think that Arkansans are better served when our government is in the business of removing barriers as opposed to creating them. Arkansas must remain a competitive state for people who want to start a business, develop ideas, and grow the economy. Our elected officials must do everything to eliminate the State Income tax, and I will work tirelessly to ensure that Arkansans have more take home pay, and build their lives and their families in the Natural State. As your State Representative, I have worked hard to ensure that Arkansas is the best place to live, work and raise a family. That’s why I have voted to cut personal and company taxes by over $960 million* in my first term. Cutting government over-regulation and ending onerous government red-tape is something I am committed to and have successfully run and passed tax-cutting legislation. *(Act 6 2023 1st Special Session, Act 532 of 2023, Act 315 of 2023, Act 485 of 2023, Act 237 of 2023, Act 358 of 2023)
  • PROTECTING THE UNBORN
My faith teaches me that all life is a precious gift from God and that the life of an unborn child begins at conception. I will always be a staunch advocate of protecting the unborn in the legislature.
  • 2ND AMENDMENT
As an avid outdoorsman, hunter and gun-owner I understand and appreciate that gun ownership is fundamental to the history and heritage of people all across Arkansas. As your next Representative, I will ensure that our government does not diminish your constitutional right to keep and bear arms, or your ability to protect your family or property.
