Will you join us and fight to protect our freedom and defend Arkansas' Values?
I believe our State is at an important inflection point, one where we need conservative leadership, fiscal responsibility, and a fresh perspective to entrenched bureaucratic problems. I firmly believe that the role of the State Legislature is to secure freedom and opportunity for all Arkansans under the constitution and do everything in its power to foster an environment for businesses to flourish.
My convictions are clear: I believe in limiting the size and scale of government, period. More importantly, as your Representative I will focus all my time, attention and efforts to ensuring that Arkansas is open for business, and that your legislature goes to work to support growing the economy, supporting small businesses and ensuring government gets out of the way of business owners so all Arkansans have access to good, high-paying jobs.
MEET BRIT

Brit McKenzie is a Rogers native and proud representative of House District 7, covering eastern Benton County. A lifelong conservative Republican and Catholic, his commitment to public service started early, working as a Legislative Aide on Capitol Hill before joining the Republican Party of Virginia and the Republican National Committee, where he helped manage campaigns for local, constitutional, and statewide offices across the country.
First elected in 2022 and re-elected in 2024, Brit has spent two terms fighting for lower taxes, parental rights in education, and limited government. In the 94th General Assembly, he helped pass more than $960 million in tax relief, championed the LEARNS Act and Education Freedom Accounts, advanced criminal justice reform, worked to protect Arkansas property rights, and pushed back against foreign adversary influence.
In the 95th General Assembly, Brit has continued that work — advocating for an end to taxpayer-funded lobbying, expanding property rights protections, curbing franchise taxes, and successfully eliminating wasteful state boards and commissions.
Brit currently serves as Vice Chair of the House Education Committee and Chair of the Local Government Personnel Subcommittee on the House City, County and Local Affairs Committee. He was selected by Speaker Brian Evans to serve on the House Rules Committee and the Boys State Committee, and serves as an alternate on the Arkansas Legislative Council Advanced Communications and Information Committee.
Beyond his committee work, Brit has been recognized as a Fellow of the Club for Growth Foundation, the Education Reformers Academy, and the Hunt-Kean Leadership Fellows program through the Hunt Institute — a distinction reserved for rising policy leaders committed to education reform nationwide.
Outside the Capitol, Brit runs business development for Think Idea Studios, a full-service marketing and advertising agency. He is a proud alumnus of Subiaco Academy and Hampden-Sydney College. He is a parishioner and lector at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers, and lives in Rogers with his wife Sydney and their children.
